Well, the first exciting but belated (family issues sorry!) news is that we reached $3,100 raised for Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington. Feels so long ago already!

Now, we’re onto new geographical news – we have our first event in Auckland coming up on August 18 – whoo hoo! We really are super excited to see what is in Aucklanders sewing cupboards! If you would like a table email our Auckland organiser Vanessa – we’d love to hear from you. It’s being held in the Freeman’s Bay Community Hall (52 Hepburn Road), 9am-12.30pm on Saturday 18 August, where the lovely Mary’s Markets are held – what a great venue. Let us know if you are going to be there!

The other slightly more vague (yet definite) news is that Brisbane is looking like it is going to happen in a couple of months again too! We’ve had a change of organiser as the lovely Lindsay now has a wee bubba and has decided to move on. Watch this space for news of this and more events coming up…Happy Wednesday night (what’s left of it).
