Only a couple more days to go until fabric-a-brac brings wonderous textile delights to you. This Saturday 18 July, 12noon to 3pm, Brooklyn Community Centre, 18 Harrison St. Parking’s not brilliant so if you can share cars or find an eco-friendly method of transport that might be a good idea! We’ll have coffee and cake on site, with proceeds to Mary Potter Hospice. If any of you are keen to help with this, please contact me – any donations of baking gratefully received!
Here’s a couple more lovely samples of what’s going to be on sale – the first was used to ‘funk up’ a 1950s armchair – the second is also upholstery fabric – this time a lovely thick cotton direct from Sweden from my own mum’s stash. It’s about twenty years old but in great nick! It is one of those pieces someone is going to have to drag off my stall as I love it loads.
