Thanks to all the wonderful stallholders, we had another great selection of fabric at fabric-a-brac last Saturday.
It was a busy day, with lots of fabric sold and the sun shone etc etc etc. Fun! I saw lots of people walking past with gorgeous fabric under their arms, but I resisted. Unfortunately for my creative side, but fortunately for my overflowing fabric coffers.
Through the coffee and cake room, and the Hospice fabric table we also raised $600 for Mary Potter Hospice. We only had a couple of rather, er, unsavoury pieces of fabric donated (dirty duvet cover? In who’s world is that quality fabric?) for this table and some of the selection was truly fabulous. Thanks to the great Victoria Moss who slaved under a lamp until the wee hours on Thursday and Friday getting the fabric measured and priced – you’re a star! And thanks to the lovely kind people who donated fabric to that table. Brilliant.
We don’t have a date for the next one yet – but keep an eye on this site and we’ll let you know ‘where to from here’.
Photos to come in a day or so.
